da apostebet： After a campaign which saw them end with one of their worst defensive records in recent seasons with 54 Premier League goals conceded, it’s no surprise that Manchester United have been linked with a host of names to fix their issues at the back.
Reports in recent weeks had suggested Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka was a major target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side and there were suggestions that the club had a bid in the region of £50m rejected for the Englishman.
Now, Gianluca di Marzio claims United have contacted Napoli about right-back Elseid Hysaj and have been impressed by his versatility, but that the Red Devils could face competition for the Albanian’s signature from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
After hearing that their side were now eyeing an alternative option at right-back, United fans took to Twitter to air their opinion on their latest transfer target.
Many seemed perplexed that United were considering Hysaj when they already had Diogo Dalot, who could provide the same versatility of playing on either side at full-back or further up the pitch.
Indeed, some were even slightly more cynical about the rumours and felt United could be playing mind-games with Crystal Palace in an attempt to drive down the price of a potential deal for Wan-Bissaka.
