da prosport bet: Despite being on the fringes of the Liverpool squad, Mignolet clearly feels strongly about the club’s success moving forward.
da pinup bet: The Belgian also seems popular amongst the Liverpool fan-base and in his six years at the club he has made a strong connection with them.
Since joining from Sunderland in 2013 for £9m, the 31-year-old has made 204 appearances keeping 66 clean-sheets and made himself a hero on his debut with a penalty save to deny Jonathan Walters.
Mignolet was Liverpool’s established number one until the 2017/18 season after some high profile errors saw Loris Karius take his place.
Mignolet signed a brand-new five year deal in 2016, so it will be interesting to see if he stays at Liverpool and is content with a place on the bench or whether he decides to move on and seek first-team football.
His Instagram post, though, suggests that he’s happy to be part of the club for now.
