Wanyama, who struggled to overcome a knee problem during the 2017-18 campaign, is yet to feature for Tottenham this season.
The 27-year-old had been in line to play for Kenya in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Ghana during the September international break, but failed to report for duty.
Kenya are said to be unhappy that the midfielder has chosen not to join up with the squad, despite the fact that he is yet to turn out for Tottenham this season.

It will certainly be interesting to see whether Wanyama is available for Tottenham’s Premier League clash with Liverpool next weekend.
