da supremo: When Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted a message looking ahead to Friday’s Premier League opener against Leicester City, it was always going to bring a frosty reception from the club’s fans.
da aposte e ganhe: Arsenal supporters have been calling for new arrivals for some time now, with AS Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar strongly linked with the Gunners over the last few weeks.
Arsenal’s Twitter account asked what would be key to beating Leicester at the Emirates Stadium, and there were a number of responses which said that scoring more goals would be a good start.
The majority were focused on transfer speculation, however, as Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger looks to add to his squad before the window slams shut at the end of this month.
Barcelona have reportedly joined Arsenal in the hunt to sign Lemar this summer, while Liverpool have also previously been credited with an interest in a player that was so impressive for Monaco last season.
Arsenal’s fanbase might well go into meltdown if Lemar does not arrive in this summer’s transfer window, and many have called for the announcement before Friday’s clash with the Foxes.
