da mrbet: As reported by the BBC, Steven Naismith has given full-throated praise to his Norwich City teammate Graham Dorrans amidst speculation he is on his way to Rangers.
What’s the story?
da pinnacle: Naismith himself had a successful spell at Ibrox so knows a few things about what it takes to be a successful player for Rangers and he reckons that if Dorrans made the switch to Glasgow that it’ be a major bit of business.
As quoted by the BBC, Naismith said:
He’d be a massive addition to a Rangers squad in transition and could be a main player if they get him. He has real quality so I hope he stays because he’d be a big loss for us. He’s a big Rangers fan, for the last 18 months we’ve spoken a lot about Rangers, you catch the games in hotels and stuff like that.
It’s certainly an exciting prospect for supporters to potentially sign a player of quality that has such a passion for the club but it seems that Rangers will have to up their offer for the Scotland international if they’re to get the deal done.
As reported by The Pink Un, Rangers are well short of Norwich City’s valuation with the Canaries expecting a seven-figure fee for the midfielder and the Light Blues offering less thank £500,000.
Rangers fans will be hoping their club can get the cheque book out for Dorrans as it appears he has all the makings of a fantastic signing.
